The Joint Municipal foclórico "Songs of Chile" in the City of Los Angeles, VIII Region of Bío Bío, was founded on May 25, 2001, Legal Personality No. 19418675, is comprised of municipal officials, currently has 22 members, its President is the Arratia Sra.Jacqueline Q. The idea came about the need to actively integrate the cultural activities of the community of Los Angeles, formalizing its first performance on September 18, 2001.
The consolidation of this group, it has certainly been achieved with the full support of the former Mr. Joel Rosales Guzmán community, City Council, directors and officers of the institution building industry, and various public performances in different cities.
The whole "Songs of Chile", has a varied repertoire, which include, dances of central, southern, cuecas for harp and accordion, the Chilean Mass, performed and created by the musical director whole.
In 2002, we participated in the National Meeting of folklore in the city of Los Angeles, organized by the Joint Meeting Amancay
folk "Chilean - Argentine" in Villa El Manzano, in the city of Neuquen Argentina, the 2003.
Participation in the festival "The Volcano" in Caviahue - Copahue ", in Argentina, the 2006. Third Meeting
folk, "Valparaiso sings to folklore," inviting the whole "Songs of the Port" in the city of Valparaiso, 2007.
Performance at the Teatro Municipal de Valparaíso, invited by the Mayor of that city, a gathering of folklore in July/2008.
Its main objective is to rescue, maintain and spread the traditions, songs and dances of our country. Show
